The gel is fantastic. It’s the best acne product I’ve tried and I’ve tried them all. It’s made a massive difference. I used to feel too self-conscious about my back to take my shirt off. Now I’ve even started taking my little girl swimming. Just putting the stuff on makes my skin feel instantly better, and after only four or five weeks applying it, my back is smoother than it’s been for years. And it’s still clearing up. “There’s still a bit of scarring on my back – the legacy of years of severe acne – but even that doesn’t look nearly as bad as it used to, which is just amazing. Over the years I’ve spent thousands of euro on skin specialists, medication, even laser treatment at €200 a pop. I did five sessions and they didn’t do a tap. I’ve taken the normal tablets you’d be prescribed, some of the more powerful stuff, and all the over-the-counter stuff. Basically, if I heard something worked on acne, I tried it. My acne is worst on my back so I resolved myself to just living with it. After all, at least it was mainly hidden. But it’s every uncomfortable and embarrassing. There have been times when I’ve woken up in the morning and the bed is covered in blood. The spots on my back would have burst during the night. Sometimes I couldn’t even sleep from the pain. Now I sleep like a baby.

I’ve been on a low grade antibiotic for my skin because I’ve got rosacea. Seemingly my skin gets stressed but the rest of me doesn’t. My rosacea flares up whenever I get stressed, eat spicy food or drink alcohol, so really it’s a twenty-four seven thing that’s there with me all the time. A friend of mine works for a pharmacy and she asked me to try the product. So I came off medication because I wanted to give it a go. I started using it for approximately a month and a half and even though it’s been a very stressful time at work in that time, it really has worked for me, especially, around my eyes and nose. It’s amazing and my skin looks great.

I had heard great things from pharmacists with rosacea and eczema, who had tried these products themselves. Still, I was a bit sceptical as no treatment I’d ever tried had ever worked for me. I started using it every day about six weeks ago, and within a couple of weeks, I can really see how much it’s improved. I now put it on every morning and again before bed, the same routine, and I haven’t had a single flare-up.

I had a few lines in my forehead and a few on my neck. A few at the side of my eyes. But nothing seemed to work on them. Then I heard about SEQuaderma Ageing Thinning Skin and decided to give it a go. And I am so glad I did. It really started working for me. I can actually see the lines disappearing over time. I was on a girls’ night out recently and my friends were asking if I had had Botox or some work done. I laughed as I would never have Botox. I wouldn’t be up for all those injections and even the cost of them too would be too much. I’ve used it on my back of my hands also and it has made a huge difference. I can see that my skin looks much younger and healthier.

I’ve been putting it on twice a day for a few weeks now and there’s a big difference. I never had rosacea until my last baby, who is now three-and-a-half. All of a sudden, I started to get these flare-ups around my nose and above my lip. Cold weather can cause it to appear, even red wine and until I tried the gel, I had nothing to treat it. I would just cover it up with make-up, but that was only masking the problem. Now I can actually keep it bay.

I've had eczema since I was a kid but it really came to a head when I was 19. My whole body looked burnt and it was hugely painful. At that point in time I resigned myself to taking daily antihistamines for the rest of my life. It dwindled down eventually but came back a year later. I was already on a gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free and pretty much everything free diet an allergy specialist had advised (five years previously), and I was using special body wash, shampoo, conditioner, washing detergent, etc. which made living costs unaffordable. My doctor put me on a cocktail of antihistamines, antibiotics and steroids so that I took 13 pills a day. The eczema cleared fast but it always came back a bit after the steroid course ran out. My doctor decided to send me to a dermatologist for the first time which cost €240 over two visits. However, she said she couldn't test me until my skin was clear. At this point I was financing my treatment on my own. The pharmacist asked me to try a new product (called SEQuaderma®) which I did. It was soothing, like putting on some fresh skin. I noticed the difference within days, and it's nice not to need a prescription every time my eczema flares up.

When I was diagnosed with Rosacea 10 years ago, I was prescribed a rosacea treatment that made my skin even worse. So since then, I have avoided targeted treatments and relied on my own beauty knowledge and managed my symptoms as best I could with diet and lifestyle changes. When I was approached by SEQuaderma to try their Redness-Prone Skin serum, I was a bit apprehensive and did a lot of reading to educate myself before agreeing to try it. But I’m so glad I did.

It was gradual so I don’t think I even realised the extent until I compared the photos today: The redness has reduced all over my face (but especially on my cheeks), the spider veins have faded, and my skin tone overall seems brighter and more even. My flare ups continue to feel similar to before, but *appear* differently – the redness isn’t as noticeable to others and the longevity of the flares is a lot shorter.

In case you can’t tell from the above raving (!) I am seriously impressed with this serum. I hadn’t found anything that actually targeted the rosacea, from a prevention point of view, so to find a serum that is available on the high street that offers this is pretty incredible and makes me extremely happy.

I've tried a lot of skincare that's of a gel consistency in the past, and they've all had one thing in common: they dry my skin out like nothing else. Sahara desert levels I swear. So yeah, I was wary - but SEQuaderma isn't like that at all. It's more of a serum type of feel, and it doesn't go tacky on my skin which is lovely.

So each morning and night for the past few weeks I've been applying SEQuaderma on my back and honestly, it's improved SO MUCH. There's no new spots at all which is incredible for me, and the ones that were there have faded to barely-visible red specks. If this was an American sit-com I'd be throwing my arms in the air and yelling RESULT!!!!

I’d had quite a bad eczema “break-out” – for want of a better phrase – on my face, so I was using coconut oil to soothe it. My dad pointed out that I hadn’t reacted at all to the SEQuaderma for acne prone skin, so I decided to whack on the gel for Red Dry Itchy Skin on my face at bed time to see what happened. It worked a treat and by morning, a lot of the redness was gone.

As manager of a Jewellery store, Ms. H has her hands on show all day to model jewellery for her customers. Unsightly hand eczema made her very self-conscious, and the customers were focusing on her scaly, flaky skin condition rather than on the jewellery. Despite regular use of topical steroids to control flare ups, her eczema was not manageable, and her skin was still very cracked, flaky, red, sore and itchy.

Recommended by a family friend, Ms. H tried SEQuaderma™ Red Dry Itchy Skin, from the new range of active dermatology products, for the care of atopic and hand eczema once she had completed her steroid course. Within a few weeks, she noticed that her skin felt much softer and significantly less cracked, itchy and red.

She is now using SEQuaderma™ Red Dry Itchy Skin on its own to manage her condition. Ms. H says, “this clever gel is instantly soothing, dries quickly, and has a cooling effect. It has given me the confidence to put my hands back on show without having to face the customer comments, which, although they were sympathetic made me feel very self-conscious. The gel quickly sinks into the skin – and no greasy marks! - so I don’t run the risk of spoiling any of the jewellery.”

Mrs L has had eczema on her right foot for all of her adult life. Her painful, cracked, sore and itchy skin made life very difficult, and, as her job involves walking and driving, her condition made keeping on the move a challenge. Despite regular use of emollients and occasional topical steroids, the eczema would not clear up. Night-time itching also woke her up on a regular basis. She felt self-conscious about having her feet on show, and has not worn sandals for years. Introduced to SEQuaderma® Dry Red Itchy Skin through a work colleague, Mrs L noticed that her skin felt softer, looked healthier and was less itchy within 3 weeks.

Mrs. J., 53, Nottingham, UK

Testimonial

Life with rosacea was soul destroying on occasion for Mrs J who has suffered from this skin condition since the hormonal changes of menopause. The severe “butterfly-shaped” redness and flushing across her nose, cheeks and chin were often so bad that on one occasion paramedics at a sports event even thought she was having a heart attack because her face was so red.

Topical steroids, moisturisers, and occasional camouflage-type make-up did little to help with the symptoms.

Within one month of being introduced to the new SEQuaderma Redness Prone Skin gel, Mrs J’s symptoms were dramatically reduced. She comments, “I feel so much more confident now that my symptoms are under control. I didn’t have to wear any make-up on holiday this year, and I am so pleased to have said goodbye to the very intense redness of my face, which was almost more obvious because it did not affect my whole face. I use the gel every day, and put my regular moisturiser on top. Even my family and friends now comment on how much better my skin looks. I am so relieved not to have to put up with comments about my appearance – it made me so self-conscious before when people thought I was ill because of the redness.”

Background

Mrs J had severe eczema, on her body and face, as a child, and was often in bandages as a result. She felt very isolated, but eventually made friends with a girl who had the same problem which made it more bearable. She visited a dermatologist and tried many different treatments when she was young.

When getting towards the perimenopause, Mrs J noticed increased problems with her face, which became very red and sensitive. She felt very embarrassed on occasion because people commented on her appearance. This made her become self-conscious about her looks. On one occasion, on holiday in Sardinia, she went on the World Rally Car championship. At the end, the local paramedics panicked when they saw her because they thought she was having a heart attack due to her red face. On other occasions, people thought she had severe sunburn.

Having seen a dermatologist who diagnosed a level of eczema and rosacea, Mrs J used a regime of topical steroids and moisturisers, but because of the combination of the conditions, treatment was complicated, and she could not get the redness under control. Camouflaging make-up just made her skin feel tight and normal make-up often made her symptoms even worse.

A dermatology nurse friend introduced Mrs J to SEQuaderma, and within a few weeks her flushing and redness was considerably less. Her skin was much calmer and the butterfly effect was much less obvious. Having just returned from holiday in Portugal and Devon she has had no problems, and her family and friends have noticed a marked improvement too.

Mrs J says, “I feel so much more confident now I now don’t have to wear make-up to cover up the redness. SEQuaderma really works for me because it means I don’t have to overload my skin with many different products and then makeup. It allows me to have a simple routine, and this helps to limit any possible irritation from too many products. I cleanse, use the gel, and then put on my regular intense moisturiser. I like to keep things simple. I am so happy to have said “goodbye” to my bright red face.”

As a pharmacist at a LloydsPharmacy, Central London, Mrs A is familiar with customer skin health queries and concerns about ageing skin. Luxury beauty brand serums have been her favourites until she tried the new SEQuaderma Ageing and Thinning Skin for the care of the signs of chronological and photo-ageing.

Taking part in a LloydsPharmacy employee testing, Mrs A said, “I was amazed at the difference SEQuaderma Ageing and Thinning Skin has made to my skin. Within a couple of weeks of using the gel twice a day the lines on my face are lighter, my skin is softer, healthier and more hydrated. I work in an air-conditioned space, travel on trains in London’s West End where the air quality is less than ideal, so the skin on my face is under constant assault. SEQuaderma Ageing and Thinning Skin is better than the other serums I used to use. “I have a morning routine where I put on my SEQuaderma Ageing and Thinning Skin and then have a cup of tea in bed. By the time I have finished my tea the gel has dried. It just takes a few minutes. I can then continue with the rest of my beauty routine. Now I have a beauty tip I can pass on to my friends.”

‘Because I haven’t had much luck with skincare products so far, I wasn’t optimistic when asked to test this one. ‘I have a condition called Seborrhoeic dermatitis which causes red, irritated and scaly patches to appear on my skin. I take medication for it, which means I have to be careful with skincare. This is great because it’s drug free, and light and gentle. After two weeks of using this daily, my skin looks the best it’s done for a long time. I’ll be sticking with it.’

I am Wednesday Addams pale, broken up only by rosy flushed cheeks and a permanently red nose. In general, this isn't too bad - it's cute, almost, given my creepy china doll colouring - however, it's made worse by just about anything; heat, cold, hot food, exercise of literally any kind, anxiety, embarrassment, tiredness... I could go on (basically, I was destined for the life I lead; sitting in watching Netflix and exerting myself as little as possible). So, when SEQuaderma got in touch and I told them about my skin, I was really excited to hear they had something that could combat it - enter SEQuaderma for Redness Prone Skin.

So does it work? Yeah - I'd say that it does. My skin is barely red at all since using it, and my skin is definitely considerably less red when flushing (helpful when I'm playing it cool and eating my hot nandos, or when I inevitably embarrass myself at least once a day). I like it a lot - I find it smoother than my usual serum, I find my skin softer and generally looking better.

I bought this from my local Lloyds Chemist about 4 weeks ago as it came highly recommended by the lady behind the counter. I posted about it at the time and set about trying this intriguing cream/serum.

Now it has been 4 weeks since I started, and BOY can I see a difference! My skin is tighter all over my face and my lines have seriously diminished. Best of all, the ‘ventriloquist dummy’ lines at the side of my mouth are getting better and better! I barely notice them now…… I cannot wait to see what results I have after the recommended 8 weeks…….AMAZING stuff! (and no, I am not being paid to say that!). I highly recommend this serum for anyone who wants to tighten their skin.

This is a product dear to my heart as a sufferer of facial redness. I should highlight that this serum doesn’t in any way claim to cover up rosacea, but it does address the symptoms. The serum is made with the intention of actually treating the condition rather than focusing on concealing it which is something I have done for years myself using make up.

I would say that my skin has calmed down in terms of redness and it has given me confidence in posting selfies on Instagram make up free where you can't see barely any redness at all. I'm so excited to see how after more uses my skin further improves.

Gill's Story

It’s a gel that I applied morning and night and instead of trying it on my face I decided to try it on my right hand (strange I know) but the reason for doing this was that I did notice that my right hand looks more aged than my left, and my reasoning was that if it could work on my hand, then it could certainly work on my face.

I have to say that this little potion packed with Vitamin C/E and phospholipids (all great for skincare) got to work fairly quickly. Within a week or so I would say my hand had definitely plumped up, looks better texture and is smoother. This product slowly chips away at the hyper-pigmentation that I have, which we all get to some degree as we age.

I find this brand very different to the regular skincare brands I use daily; they are a scientific brand, consist of gel formulas that contain nano-technology so tiny vesicles carry the product right in through the skin’s layers to address the heart of any skin problems, and they have such a varied help offering including Rosacea, Eczema, Acne, Dermatitis and ageing and thinning skin.

I suffer mainly from outbreaks and red marks from past bursts of spots, therefore my favourite product from this brand is the Acne Prone Skin gel. I have been using it in a totally different way from my other skincare products, in which I apply it all over the problem area twice a day, leave for 10 minutes, before wiping the skin with wet tissue to remove. It is then that I use my regular toner and moisturiser.

I started using this product eight weeks ago, and wanted to wait until two months in before reviewing honestly. The first brilliant thing about this gel is that after eight weeks of using every day, I still have half the bottle left. I think that’s down to being careful with how much I apply and only spreading onto areas affected by breakouts. For me, this is always my jawline and lower cheeks.

It’s a dream to use – no irritation, no stickiness, no awkward application. I just pat this on, leave for 10 minutes and wipe away. The amount of spots I have been receiving have lowered around the areas I’m usually prone, which has been a relief as I constantly battle jaw breakouts. In the time I have been using this, I noticed a couple of new spots appeared but that has been down to over indulging in bad food (I’m severely prone to breakouts from food and diet) and they were also above my cheeks or odd forehead ones, which isn’t my usual problem.

The best thing this gel does is it stops oily skin and shine. Acne prone skin is usually oily, and after midday, my skin can become really shiny around the T-Zone. I try to limit the amount of heavy foundation I wear throughout the day and use a CC cream instead, therefore I am prone to a little more shine. However, this gel has put a stop to this- my skin is much more matte, fresh and oil-free. I keep expecting to top up my face powder after lunch, but I find I don’t need to do this as much anymore.

It took a week of using SEQuaderma consistently before I saw results - but the results were fantastic!

Normally, a new product will cause me break outs before it starts to work, but this one, while it took time to begin, led to improvement only!

Not having to wash or scrub the skin beforehand makes it really easy and fast to use and fit in my day, especially my busy morning when I’m always rushing and I was then able to do my normal wash routine.

It did seem to make my skin look, feel better and appear healthier.

I would definitely be keen to continue using SEQuaderma to alleviate my acne.

I have recently been using the SEQuaderma for Red Irritated Scaly Skin. It has really reduced the redness and the horrid scaling is at the best it’s been for a long time! I had developed a rash on my eye lid that had spread down all around my eye, I think it’s down to stress as there is so much going on at the moment. But anyway, the serum has really made a difference. I had used other things but they had made my eye sore and smart - but the serum is gentle and yet effective enough to really help the problem ..in fact its nearly gone! I would highly recommend this product to anyone and I'm sure it will help you as much as it helped me.

I bought this for my 13 year old daughter who is suffering terribly with her skin. Within 48 hours of using this cream her spots were less angry & more to the point her skin was not ridiculously greasy & shiny. I would definitely recommend this cream as I don't want her to take long term drug therapy if it can at all be helped.
